Butter Bags Cannabutter Infusion Kit
CANNABUTTER IS USED IN THE BAKING + CULINARY WORLD

The term “cannabutter” is a shortened version of the two words “cannabis” and “butter”. Cannabutter is the finished product of two primary steps called decarboxylation and infusion. Using heat as a catalyst, fresh butter can be infused with the essential properties of the plant. Some refer to cannabutter as a magical butter from the effects achieved through ingestion.

There are many methods for making cannabutter but time and temperature are a crucial part of the equation to avoid vaporizing the essential elements extracted during the decarb and infusion stages.

The cannabutter stove-top method is probably the easiest method to do at home. But with time and temperature being a critical element for a proper infusion and the constant water topping up and finally the very PUNGENT ODOUR invading every space in your space the stove-top method may also be considered one of the crudest forms of making cannabutter.

The slow-cooker method of making cannabutter has some advantages such as a regulated heat source but it still needs to be monitored for water evaporation and the smell will be just as strong as the stove-top method. Both methods require constant monitoring.

There are also electronic gadgets and stove-top gadgets that will infuse butter with cannabis. One of the stove-top methods uses a French Press and some of the electronic gadgets are reported by consumers to have lost their heat calibration, make strange grinding sounds while each still have the issue of a very strong herbal smell during both the decarboxylation and infusion stages.

Cannabutter can easily be made at home with a proper set of guidelines, some heat and a little bit of time. Cannabutter is also a great place to start for first time infusers knowing that the end result will be a delicious edible treat.
