BUTTER BAGZ™ will infuse any edible culinary oil you want to infuse. Avocado oil is a popular choice if you’re making bath bombs or complexion topicals. Grapeseed oil is light and very neutral. Olive oil is a favourite for the edible culinary world. Walnut oil is exotic, expensive and delicious on salads. A light canola oil will also work well for your infusion. One of the best oils is coconut oil with it’s high fat content that helps it to naturally absorb more of the plant essence.

Can I use a toaster oven
NO.
with the BUTTER BAGZ™ system?
A toaster oven gets to hot and can also scorch the specialized micro-thin film by being to close to the heating elements. Always use a full size oven for consistent internal infusion temperatures and your own safety.
How long does infused butter / oil last?
3 months fridge ::::: 5 months freezer
Infused oil will last about three months in a refrigerator or five months in the freezer as long as it is sealed properly. We recommend these limits to avoid degradation of the potency of your infusion and/or consuming rancid edible oil.
What is the MAXIMUM amount
21 GRAMS (3/4 oz.) OF FLOWER & 1.75 CUPS OF BUTTER OR OIL
I can use with the Butter Bagz™ Kit?
The special ultra-thin sheets are designed for a MAXIMUM OF 21 GRAMS OR 3/4 OUNCE of flower or herb which still leaves room for the MAXIMUM OF 1.75 CUPS of BUTTER (or coconut oil) and the recommended half cup of water. The BUTTER BAGZ™ system uses an air void (head space) within the hot pressurized infusion environment to allow for a full infusion so overloading the system is definitely NOT recommended.
Can I use a microwave
NO.
with the Butter Bagz™ system?
Your BUTTER BAGZ™ infusion needs a consistent temperature, this is a crucially important detail for making infusions. The microwave oven would create excessive heat thereby ruining your infusion and decarb efforts. The oven is the best way to stabilize and extract for your infusion.
